Rehearse your next arrival
Pick the harbour, the boat, the berth and the weather, morning to night, then come into the berth as many times as it takes. Missed it? Start again right next to the berth.

The app
Port Skipper is a realistic docking simulator for cruising yachts. Real harbours, wind, current, and boats that answer the throttle and the helm just like yours.

Prop walk going astern, windage that pushes the bow off, carrying way, the rudder that only bites with water flowing past it, gusts you can see coming on the water. The model is built from naval-architecture literature, not arcade tuning.
Understand these effects
Six real marinas rebuilt from map data, with their pontoons, quays and moored boats. Each harbour follows its local practice: bows-in on the Atlantic, stern-to in the Mediterranean.

Finger pontoons, lazy lines, stern-to on your own anchor with the windlass, between piles, bows-to with a stern buoy, alongside.
Read the manoeuvre guidesFrom a 23-foot daysailer with a tiller to a 45-foot cruiser with twin rudders, by way of a classic long-keeler. Each has her own turning circle and prop walk.
After each manoeuvre: your track from above, your contacts, your centring and one precise tip to improve.
Wheel or tiller, a single throttle lever with a neutral detent, crew buttons for the lines, a VHF call from the harbour master, haptics and real harbour sounds.

Port Skipper does not replace training on the water, but it lets you rehearse the moves and understand why the boat behaves as she does.
