Privacy policy

Port Skipper sells no data, shows no advertising and does not track people across apps or websites. The data controller is the publisher named in the legal notice.

The Port Skipper app

The app asks for no account, no e-mail address and no location.

• Progress (level stars): stored on your device and, if iCloud is turned on, in your iCloud account (Apple’s key-value storage) so you find it on your other devices. This data stays in your Apple account: the publisher has no access to it.
• Game Center: if you are signed in to Game Center, the app reports completed levels to it (achievements). Your Game Center profile is managed by Apple, under its own privacy policy.
• Settings (language, sound, vibration, graphics): stored only on your device.
• Downloadable harbours: delivered by Apple’s App Store (on-demand resources).

The app contains no audience measurement, advertising or tracking tool.

The portskipper.app website

• Audience measurement: the site uses Umami, installed on our own server, without cookies. It counts page views, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country, without recording any information that identifies you. These statistics are kept for 25 months at most.
• The site sets no cookies.
• Hosting: OVH SAS (see the legal notice).

Messages sent to contact@portskipper.app are used only to reply to you. They are kept as long as needed to follow up your request.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase data about you, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@portskipper.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with your own country’s authority.
